Feed the Future Nigeria Rural Resilience Activity has recognized Ikore’s input on the Trulenn project. The Chief of Party, Feed the Future Nigeria Rural Resilience Activity at Mercy Corps, Margarita Aswani gave a positive feedback on Ikore’s media handle: “great work Ikore team! Proud to be partnering with you!” Ikore implemented the trulenn project in Gombe and Adamawa States. Within the implementing states, over 12,000 farmers accessed veterinary services and inputs through the 70 CAHW networks and the over 30 retailer networks that were established. These established networks also provided support to the 301 farmers that were able to access the in-kind loan that was provided twice within the project lifespan of 1 year. We had some direct impact and indirect impacts. The direct impact included 101,015 livestock treated and vaccinated; #3,758,542 profit for CAHWs; #10,681,841 profit for in-kind beneficiaries and 77 jobs created. Indirect impacts include Farmers’ investment worth #772,277,500 saved through Veterinary service provision, $493,817 investment leveraged, and 312 jobs created.
