Ikore facilitates networking within the development industry…
Ikore International Development Limited organized the International Development Professionals’ Hangout on March 31, 2023 in Abuja. The event which is the first of its kind, brought together participants from 13 international organizations and 7 national development companies. The event aimed at facilitating networking among professionals in the development industry. Building a community where efforts could be synergized in achieving the desired growth in Nigeria and Africa at large is at the event’s core.
Hence, Ikore created an enabling environment for development professionals to interact, connect and join forces, which will lead to mutually beneficial partnerships and innovative solutions to the complex challenges facing the industry. The hangout was an exciting opportunity to network with like-minded individuals in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
At the event, participants had ample opportunity to meet with other workers in different capacities, sharing experiences, and exploring potential opportunities for collaboration. There were games and other fun activities. Godson Ohuruogu, a managing partner in Ikore said in his remarks: “We love to build a community of development experts where we can share ideas, team up and look out for each other.”
One of the participants expressed his excitement: “I am glad to be a part of this event. I have been able to meet others who are working on projects similar to ours in their organizations. I would love for this event to come up every month”
The Hangout, which is the first edition, will begin a series of collaborative meetings in coming days. Ikore continues to drive sustainable social and enterprise development through innovative solutions. We work with the private, public sector, and non-state actors to create a win-win situation for all, extending access frontiers in hard-to-reach, economically deprived, and vulnerable communities in Nigeria and Africa.
