Supporting Rural Vulnerable Women

Triple-I is a project that aims to improve the livelihood of rural women through well-tailored training in profitable poultry and livestock production serving as entrepreneurial skill with which they can generate reasonable income thereby leading to reduced poverty in rural women. These women will be provided with the required resources for the breeding period, after which they will refund the cash equivalence of the resources provided, this refunded cash will be used to aid another woman. Gender equality is promoted with improved capacity for running sustainable businesses through strong structures and more access to productive resources for value chain development. By providing inputs, capacity development and market linkages, we are taking a step towards the fulfilment of the sustainable development goals. (SDG 1: No poverty, SDG 5: Gender equality and empower all women and girls)
